Compounds Need to be Assigned to a Library to be Recognized in Cliquid® Software

Issue Description

A MS/MS spectra was added to a compound record in LibraryView™ software, but subsequent confirmation runs in Cliquid® software failed. The spectrum in the confirmation run could not be matched to the spectrum in the library even though the two spectra appeared to match. 

Resolution

The root cause of the issue was the compound in the LibraryView software database was not associated with any named library. When Cliquid software was searching libraries (even 'All Libraries') during the confirmation run, the newly added entry was not visible. 

To resolve the issue, the newly added LibraryView entry was added to an existing library. The data was reprocessed in Cliquid software and a library match was obtained.
