Signal to Noise (S/N) values can be displayed as a column in Sciex OS Analytics


There are three different S/N algorithms available in Sciex OS 2.0 or higher. The one to be used must be defined in the default settings of the project. If newly created projects are to be set with a specific algorithm, the Project Default Settings of the default project can be modified accordingly.

Attention: the selected algorithm will be used for newly created processing methods. Existing methods will not be changed if the algorithm is changed in the Default Settings!




For Relative Noise no background region must be defined or can be changed.
For Standard Deviation and Peak to Peak the noise region can be set in width and position with left mouse button:


The position can then be applied to all samples (right click peak review) and saved to processing method:
 

In the peak review settings the display of the noise region can be activated/deactivated:
