Yes, the Central Administrator Console (CAC) software settings are forward compatible with future versions of the CAC for SCIEX OS software. This means that the setting files (.eac files) from older versions of the CAC software can be imported into newer CAC versions (when they become available), and all the information regarding users, workstations, projects and workgroups will be able to imported into a new version or new installation of the CAC software.
