For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.

Answer

Low resolution does not have its own table of offset voltages to be tuned in Analyst® software during instrument optimization. It is defined by a fixed decrease from offset values for unit resolution.

To access the offset values, select Configure mode, and navigate to the Tools menu. Select the Settings option and then Tuning Options. In the Resolution tab, locate the field for Offset Drop from Unit Resolution for low resolution.

By default, this value is set to be 0.3 for low resolution. If the vale is replaced by zero, this means low resolution will be identical to unit resolution. If this value is increased, to 0.6 for example, the MS peaks will be less resolved and more intense under low resolution.
