How can I avoid the following error message in Analyst® software: “Failed 5% manual integration rule. Reverting back to original peak area.”

Issue Description

The following error message appears when a manual integration is executed.

 

Resolution

Make sure you are in Quantitate Mode. Go to Tools, Settings, Quantitation Peak Review settings.


Per default, the Manual Integration (Percent Rule) is set to “Reject manual integration if difference in new area is less than 0% of original area.” If the percentage has been changed, this can lead to an error message.
