Analyst® Software Sub-projects Cannot Be Used with Custom Quant Table Settings

In Analyst® software in Quantitate mode, new custom results table settings are applied under the Tools menu by selecting Settings and then New Quantitation Results Table. When putting in a title for the custom settings, an error message appears: "Cannot set audit map for new setting."


To remove the error, the project folder selected in Analyst software cannot use sub-projects. Additionally, to check that an audit trail is applied correctly, select the Configure mode, and open the Audit Trail Manager under the View menu. Select the project being used. In the Settings tab, select the Default Audit Trail and then Apply. Close the audit trail settings and then open the results table settings again to apply the customized settings.
