Exporting and Importing a Flagging Rule in SCIEX OS Software

Users can export any flagging rules that are generated in a processing method in the Analytics workspace of SCIEX OS software. in addition, users can also import a flagging rule that was previously created from a existing processing method.

To export a flagging rule:
1) In Analytics workspace, open a processing method that contains an IS Recovery flagging rule that is to be exported. Select Flagging Rules and highlight the IS Recovery rule under the Rule Name column, and then click Export.

2) Choose a file location and save the exported file as IS Recovery.  Users can view the rule and its format by opening the .txt file in Notepad.


3) To add the exported rule to a new SCIEX OS processing method, click Import from the Flagging rule page in Analytics workspace. Then browse to the .txt file and click Open.
