Direct LIMS Transfer in SCIEX OS Software Does Not Require a Template

Answer

Transferring data to a LIMS system from a results table created in SCIEX OS software does not require a template. To transfer data to a LIMS system, first the results table must be locked. After creating and finalizing the results table prior to LIMS transfer, select the Results menu and then select Lock results file and save.

Once the results table is saved and locked, the background of the results table will turn grey. Under the Reporting menu, select Transfer results to LIMS. A LIMS Transfer dialog box appears, with two options for the LIMS template in the template drop down menu.

1) Visible LIMS supported Columns (Figure 1): This option exports only the visible columns in the results table that are supported by LIMS.
2) All LIMS supported Columns (Figure 2): This option will export all columns that are LIMS supported (even those that are not displaying in a results table).
