How Are the Ion Ratio Flagging Rules Set Up in SCIEX OS 1.5 Software?

To set up the ion ratio flagging rules in SCIEX OS software, open the Analytics workspace. Click Process Method and select New (or to edit an existing processing method, click Process Method and select Edit embedded method). Select Flagging Rules, and then click Ion Ratio Acceptance.



Users can configure the confidence levels for the ion area ratios using the options Constant Tolerance or Variable Tolerance:




Users can flag ion ratios within certain level for particular component by selecting Flag ion ratios if the concentration is within the following range, and then selecting By component for Values per component type.




Users can flag only the quantifier ion by selecting Flag ion ratios if the concentration is within the following range, and using By quantifier ion for Values per component type.




Users can flag all ion ratios by unchecking the Flag ion ratios if the concentration is within the following range box.
