Changing the Leak Sensor Detection Detector Threshold for a Shimadzu LC System
When a leak error is observed for a Shimadzu LC system but the channel is dry, it may be that the threshold for detecting a leak is set too low. This setting may be changed by the following procedure:
- Push the VP button on the front panel of the device with the leak error, (e.g., a pump or a column oven).
- Press the function key to get to the Calibration menu.
- The password is 00000.
- Press the function key twice to get to the leak threshold.
- Change the value to a higher number. A good default setting is 40000.
